Healthspan Action Coalition welcomes all interns. We are thrilled to have interns onboard, and to partner with the StandOut program and other programs to provide an enriching experience for bright and hard-working students looking to start their academic and professional careers.
We are committed to workforce development, specifically for the biomedical research sector and all the roles needed to move it forward. Healthspan and Regenerative Medicine are areas that need skilled people in scientific, clinical, policy, communications and other roles to drive the scientific discoveries and the advancement of therapies to extend the human healthspan.
Brief Overview of the Standout Program
StandOut Interns is a free program created with the help of investment from the University of Chicago’s Polsky Center for Innovation, which matches top US high school students with remote internship opportunities. The program managers teach the students professional skills specifically for a fast-moving environment, including how to integrate the latest tech into their workflow, including AI tools. This wrap-around program, along with the rich work the students do in their internships, provides these interns with invaluable experience as they embark on their college and professional careers.
