Current Priorities: Recognizing Healthspan as a Human Right
HSAC along with other stakeholders are developing a comprehensive program to recognize healthspan as a fundamental human right, thereby establishing a framework for systemic change in how societies approach human longevity and wellness.
The THRIVE Act
In collaboration with The Kitalys Institute, HSAC is co-developing legislation for introduction in the U.S. Congress that will create a regulatory pathway at the FDA for healthspan-promoting products, including:
- Effective drugs and biologics (cells, tissues, and derivatives)
- Medical devices (implants, wearables, and others)
- Foods and targeted nutritional supplements
This landmark proposal will create new incentives and a streamlined approval process for products that demonstrably extend healthy lifespan. To download the latest version of the Thrive Act click here
Continuing to Grow and Curate the Coalition
We’re expanding HSAC by connecting with innovative organizations, including companies that share our healthspan mission. Healthspan Corridors
We’re working with local leadership teams exploring avenues to establish dedicated Healthspan Corridors in Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Space Coast, Florida. These regions will serve as specialized zones for advancing healthspan research, innovation, and implementation, creating concentrated ecosystems where breakthrough technologies and therapies can be developed and tested in supportive regulatory environments.
