NASA astronaut and Expedition 70 Flight Engineer Jasmin Moghbeli processes liver stem cell samples inside the Kibo laboratory module’s Life Science Glovebox for the Space AGE investigation.
The experiment is researching space-caused aging symptoms like those seen in the elderly on Earth and observes how aged immune cells affect liver regeneration providing deeper insights into the biology of aging and its effects on disease mechanisms.
