Youssof Mal is a physician-scientist with over 15 years of experience spanning clinical practice, public health, medical education, and biomedical research. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from King Abdulaziz University, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Healthcare Policy and Procedure from Tufts University, and a PhD in Genetics from the Tufts University School of Medicine.

His work centers on aging biology, geroscience, and healthspan science, with a particular interest in how artificial intelligence is reshaping discovery and decision-making across the life sciences. At Hevolution Foundation, he focuses on scientific due diligence, investment evaluation, and strategic horizon scanning across the biotechnology landscape, working at the intersection of science, strategy,and capital allocation to advance the field of healthspan science globally
